Abstract
This collection of original poems explores the idea of being stuck in a state of suspension regarding oneself. Serving as contextual support is the narrative essay that illustrates the creative direction as well as the artistic influences that went into forging this body of work. With a mix of narrative, lyric, and monologue, the situational complexities between desire and location, love and loss, family and remembrance, humanity and nature, are all at the forefront of this collection.
